Larneuk Stud

Larneuk Stud has been operational for about 20 years. Initially a private farm it became a commercial operation in 1999, and was purchased by Neville Murdoch in 2001, fulfilling Neville’s lifelong dream to work hands on in an industry he has been involved in for over 15 years. Under Neville’s guidance Larneuk has grown from its original stallion roster of one sire to a flourishing commercial stud standing four stallions.

Larneuk Stud comprises 200 acres of lightly treed, well shaded undulating land situated in the beautiful Gooram Valley in the foothills of the Strathbogie Ranges. The stud is situated along the banks of Castle Creek which meanders through the property providing year round water. A well appointed farm, Larneuk Stud offers a full range of services to mare owners and can cater for your horses from breeding to sale ring.

The stud is serviced by Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital who attend the farm on a daily basis throughout the stud season. The GV Equine Hospital make all charges direct to mare owners throughout the season.

Agistment-
       Mare & foal.......….$18.70 per day
       Mare (dry)....……..$16.50 per day
       Mare boxed….…...$24.20 per day
       Mare & foal boxed $27.50 per day
       Weanlings (to 31st July) $18.70 per day
       Yearlings (after 1st August) $18.70 per day
Foaling Fee..........$385.00
Weaning Fee....... $385.00
